"Snow Angels" Watching Over Us

We made Snow Angels in the park as a form of District Contacting. They came complete with a Book of Mormon and some "Pass Along" Cards as their outline. My companion, at this time in Pitesti, was Elder Kebker from Ohio. He is crazy fun, and makes me laugh a lot! Elder Pettit and Elder Horgmo are the other Elder Companionship in Pitesti. They are super fun to serve with, and always have a funny story to tell us to make us laugh even more!

Curtea de Arges Monestary

Just 36km West of Pitesti, located at the end of a boulevard with hundred of years old linden trees, Curtea de Arges Monastery is the most important pilgrimage and prayer place in the county of Arges, with the “Assumption of the Virgin” as its dedication day. Founded in the time of voivode Neagoe Basarab, between 1512 and 1517, the monastery is a part of the most famous Romanian legend, “The legend of master Manole”.

Finally Success, My First Baptism!

At the beginning of January, I finally had success in Pitesti, and baptized Viorel. He is a very interesting man. He has some pretty interesting theories about life in general, but he was teachable and accepted the gospel and finally accepted the challenge of baptism. He's my first! I am pictured here with Viorel and my junior companion, Elder Fonnesbeck, and the other two Elder's currently serving in Pitesti.
