A Beautiful Orthodox Cathedral Here in Timisoara

Yes, I am loving it here in Timisoara! It's much more of the European style landscape that I love, and the weather now is just perfect. A little on the cooler side, up here in the rolling green hills. Timisoara is known for it's unique character and red-topped roof houses, and also it's many Orthodox Cathedral's. This is just one of many in Timisoara, it is known as the "Little Vienna" of Romania! I love it here!

Practicing "Ear-Wicking"

It really works! This is an ancient old practice here in Eastern Europe, using bees wax and a candle wick to clean out your ears. Say it isn't so! Zachy wachy, waxy waxing! Sounds like something Dr. Suess ordered especially for this P-day activity!

Train Ride to Timisoara

Yeah! Transfers are here. I'm off to Timisoara, my new assigned area on
the West side of Romania, bordering Hungary and Serbia. I'm so excited,
I'm Heading to the mountians, ok,
well maybe just rolling hills. But, hey,
it beats the heat in Constanta!
Hey, who put that picture of me up in the train?

Roman Ruins

Today for our p-day we went with a lady form the English classes we offer, to some Roman Ruins North of Constanta. They were pretty cool. Nothing like Rome, but I liked it! It was fun to drive way out to the middle of nowhere to see them. I even got to see some of the little villages on the way, and a bunch of gypsies and their gypsy carts. I really enjoyed that! So, I don't know the story behind the ruins. There was no tour or anything. You where just allowed to walk through them and look at it all. They gave us a brochure which probable tells more about them, but I didn't read much of it. They are; Roman Ruins I don't think it gets much simpler than that! The lady in the back on one of the pictures in Ana from the English class. And Elder Sanchez from San Diego, the one with the striped shirt is Elder Olsen from SLC and Elder Garrett (my comp) is in the bright orange shirt.
