Humanitarian Project in Hincesti, Moldova

Well, this week went okay. The missionary work side of things was pretty slow. But, my companion and I still had a really fun time. We just laugh and made jokes at each other all day. It's really fun! It has been raining the last few days. I still like the rain, except it makes our missionary work really hard.

We did go to Hincesti on a Humanitarian Project again, Hincesti is a city just Southwest of Chisinau. We went to give out some more food to the flood victims that are living in some really poor circumstances there. That was a pretty cool experience, I got a priceless picture of a little girl carrying a bag of cherries that my companion, Elder Laherty, just gave to her.

Sergiu Orbu's Baptism

Sergiu has known the Church for about two years, but had not committed to Baptism yet. He came to Church last Sunday and said he finally wanted to be Baptized. So, we taught him a few times to make sure he understoood everything, had the Baptism Interview, then he was finally Baptized yesterday. He is a way sweet kid, I wish him the best in his future!

Our Cool Chisinau Apartment

The Bedroom and Kitchen Area

The Study Room and The Toaleta

Our Cool Corner Tub and Entryway

My apartment is super nice, these are a few picture's. It is kind of far away, but it's alright. Our villa is way nice. It used to be a wedding reception center, but makes for a perfect LDS Church now. Getting here was actually not on a train. We took two vans with hired drivers; Oleg is one of the guys names. The mission has used hime a lot before. He also helps us to not have any problems at the border so that was way nice. It only took 7-8 hours, far better than a 14 hour train ride would have been.
